Facing Oblivion

Facing Oblivion

The artwork, titled "Facing Oblivion," features a striking composition of sunflower fibers that evoke a sense of resilience and hope amid adversity. Each petal, textured with meticulous detail, stands out against a backdrop that reflects the somber themes of conflict and perseverance. As the sunflowers reach toward the light, they symbolize the strength and courage of the Ukrainian people in their fight for survival and recognition. This piece serves as a poignant reminder of the power of art to convey profound messages of support and solidarity.

This mixed media image combines torn paper gell prints and acrylic to create a dynamic visual experience. The layers of textured paper interweave with vibrant acrylics, resulting in a harmonious blend of colors and forms. The use of torn edges adds a sense of movement and depth, while the gell prints bring intricate patterns to the foreground. This artwork invites viewers to explore the interplay of materials, encouraging a deeper appreciation for the complexity of mixed media techniques.
